Morphing
Ax is a shapeshifter! Using DNA, he can change from his natural blue centaurish form into, well, any living creature! Provided he touches the creature first, in a process known as acquiring. Acquisition only takes a few seconds and produces a calm, trance-like effect on the acquiree for those precious few moments. Very useful when acquiring, say, sharks.

Note #1: Ax can only acquire DNA! What does that mean for your character? It means if their powers are not genetic, he's getting diddly squat. If your character is really a dog or a lobster-man or something, he's turning into that.

Note #2: The Animorphs' rule of thumb is that you can only acquire sentient beings with their permission. I'm going to be sticking to this unless you'd like to plot an emergency acquisition thing.

Super Hacking
Ax (with a little help) broke into the CIA databases within five minutes once. What I'm saying is that he's really, really good at breaking encryptions! It helps that he's had years of practice.

Food Weaponry
Ax can turn food into weapons. Can he grab stuff off your plate? Just for self-defense? He won't eat it, really he won't! (Spoilers: he will totally eat it.)
