MORPH USES

Battle Morphs
• Unlike the rest of the team, Ax tends to fight in his natural body, since he doesn’t need to disguise his true form to the Yeerks. Also, you know, he’s trained in tail fighting. BUT when he can’t use that morph for whatever reason, he will morph...
  → Hork-Bajir (Jara Hamee): These guys are described as walking blenders. Yeah. Don’t mess with them.
  → Hammerhead Shark: For underwater battles. This one doesn’t get a lot of use, though, since a) it’s kind of a huge risk on account of wanting to eat everyone else’s underwater morph (dolphin) and b) the team doesn’t fight underwater that often.
  → Human: Ax has pretty much no fistfighting skills but that wouldn’t stop him from learning if he had to!

Flying Morphs
• Northern Harrier: Ax’s main bird morph.
• Duck: For long-distance flights.

Spying Morphs
• Fly: The group’s main morph for spying due to their great (if initially confusing) eyesight and ability to blend in.
• Wolf Spider: Used for the same purposes as the fly, except with better defenses and a lot less subtlety.
• Cockroach: Mostly used to survive basically anything because roaches are super durable! But he also uses it for spying purposes.
• Flea: Usually used to "hitch a ride" on someone.
• Human: Not technically a spying morph but it could be utilized as one!


NOTES
• * = Morph acquired after #38, which means Ax doesn’t have it in the City, but I am including it for reference anyway.
• ** = Unusuable morph.
  → Taxxons are unusuable because their hunger cannot be controlled.
• *** = Sentient species morph. Not likely to be used again out of respect for the acquired. The exception is Jara Hamee, who gave his consent to let the kids use his form in battle.
